History
VersaDock began creating modular floating dock systems back in 1997. We focused on commercial and residential applications but stayed away from the drive on docking systems because, well frankly, they were just too dangerous. We spent several years working on a safe design that would protect the watercraft and allow the driver to approach and dock the boat in a very controlled manner.

In 2004, we released our patented V-Float technology which allowed us to create safe and controlled drive-on docking systems for most small and mid-sized boats. We focused our design on safety and the result is quite different than those solutions of our competitors. While watching the videos, you will see that they basically jump the boat on their docks while our docks allow the user to slide on gently.

In 2006 we released our new double float technology which radically changes the characteristics of our docks. The weight distribution is up to 8x greater which results in an incredibly stable dock and allows us to keep boats out of the water, high and dry, with an smooth angle of drive-on while minimizing the need for beams and other structures below the docks for mid size boats.
