This video shows how the VersaDock patented V-Float technology makes it simple and safe to dock your boat as well as drive it off the dock and head out to catch some fish. The Center channel fills with water when the boat is in reverse. The design of the dock does not allow the water to drain as fast as the prop is pushing water into the channel and as a result, the water is forced out between the boat and the dock. This thin surface of water creates a "hydroplane" effect and lets the boat slide off the dock with minimal friction.

The boat approaches in a controlled manner, the dock centers the boat and the boats drives on at about 1200-1400 RPM - just a little above idle. With the boat being driven with a tower - you can see in the video just how stable the dock and boat are while driving up.
